Welcome to Smaug, the tool that automatically collects your Twitter/X bookmarks into markdown format. This guide will help you download and run Smaug quickly, even if you have no technical experience.
To run Smaug, you will need:
Visit this page to download: Smaug Releases.
On the releases page, find the latest version of Smaug. Look for a file named something like smaug-v1.0.exe for Windows or smaug-v1.0.dmg for macOS.
Click on the appropriate download link for your operating system.
Once the file finishes downloading, locate it in your downloads folder.
Double-click the file:
Open Smaug from your applications or programs list.
Log in to your Twitter/X account when prompted.
Press the βStartβ button to begin collecting your bookmarks.
Smaug will automatically convert your bookmarks to markdown and save them to your preferred location.
You can access your markdown file anytime to view or edit your bookmarks.
